What we ship by default.

On every build. Included in the fixed price from €1.995. No "SEO package" at €499/mo on top.

A.Tech layer

  • Schema.org JSON-LD — LocalBusiness, ProfessionalService, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList. Required for rich results and LLM citations.
  • Meta set — title, description, canonical, Open Graph (4), Twitter Card, hreflang.
  • Mobile-first — viewport, srcset, Core Web Vitals below Google's thresholds.
  • Security headers — HSTS, CSP, X-Frame, nosniff, Referrer-Policy.

B.NL compliance

  • GDPR page + cookie banner — meets ACM requirements for commercial sites.
  • KvK in footer — mandatory for Dutch SMBs. Plenty of major retailers forget this.
  • NL address + postal code — boosts local SEO and ACM compliance.
  • HTML lang="nl" — screen readers and Google know your audience.

C.Discovery

  • Sitemap + robots.txt — auto-generated, submitted to Google Search Console and Bing.
  • llms.txt + llms-full.txt — content dump for ChatGPT/Claude/Perplexity citations.
  • Local SEO — Google Business Profile, areaServed schema, location pages.
  • Pillar pages + clusters — industry and city pages for topical authority.

SEO for AI search.

ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity are slowly becoming Google's biggest competitor for "who can sell me X?" queries. You need to be findable there before your customers can still find you on Google.

llms.txt

Content dump for LLMs

Plain-text summary of what you do, who you serve, in which region, at what prices. LLMs pick it up during training and RAG queries. We generate it automatically from your site.

Schema.org

Unambiguous company data

LocalBusiness, ProfessionalService and Organization schemas with FAQs, hours, ratings, founders. So LLMs "know" who you are without guessing.

Citations

Build authority sources

Clutch, Sortlist, Wikidata, GitHub projects, guest articles on Frankwatching or Marketingfacts. LLMs trust platforms that they trust.

Questions we get a lot.

About what we do, what it costs, and why we don't sell an "SEO package".

Do you also do SEO?
Yes, by default with every website build. SEO isn't a separate package at DesignCheck — Schema.org, Open Graph, top Lighthouse scores, GDPR, sitemap, robots, local SEO and LLM discovery are all in the fixed price (from €1.995).
What does SEO cost at DesignCheck?
Nothing extra. We don't sell "€499/mo SEO packages". What we set up by default is in every site. For ongoing monitoring we include our audit engine plus a daily PageSpeed measurement in your HQ dashboard.
What is / AI discoverability?
ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity crawl the web differently than Google. We add machine-readable content for AI search to your site — a structured content dump so you get cited instead of skipped. Plus Schema.org tags that LLMs use to describe businesses with confidence.
How do you measure whether your SEO works?
Our audit engine at designcheck.nl/en/seo runs an extensive audit → A/B/C/D/F grade. Runs daily on your site via GitHub Action. Request audit to see how we score against Hema, Gamma, Praxis.
Do you do link building or content creation?
Link building: partly — we set up citation sources (Clutch, Sortlist, GitHub, KvK rich profile, Wikidata). No old-school PBN work. Content: for pillar pages and industry/city pages yes. For ongoing quarterly blog maintenance we can agree on a fixed rate, but don't expect a €2,000/mo content package.
Do you work with Google Ads or paid search?
No. We do organic SEO + AI discoverability + local SEO. For paid search we have partner agencies in De Ronde Venen we refer to — usually on a no-fee basis for our clients.
How long until I see SEO results?
For technical scores (Lighthouse, Schema, GDPR): immediately after launch. For organic rankings: 3-6 months on average. For local "web design Mijdrecht" queries: often top-10 within 8 weeks. Broad commercial queries take longer. Honest expectation.
