What we build
Web applications and client portals. Software that runs in the browser, with logins, dashboards, calendars, payments and documents. Your customers log in to see their appointments, quotes or files, and your team works in one place.
Apps. Apps for your customers or your own team, on iPhone, Android and the computer. Bookings, orders, a loyalty card, work orders and checklists, with notifications at the right moment.
Integrations. Your website, calendar, payment provider and accounting exchange data, and public sources such as the Dutch vehicle register (RDW) or address register (BAG) fill in details, so nobody retypes anything.
Already in use
The clearest example is the workspace that comes with every site we build. It is a web application, also available as an app on the phone, where bookings, reservations and enquiries from the website arrive straight away, next to customers, quotes and reviews, with a notification for every new booking. Each workspace gets the logo and colours of the business and is set up per trade: a kitchen screen with orders per table for hospitality, a calendar per chair for hairdressers, work orders with hours and materials for construction, and the vehicle's inspection date for garages.
For clients we built, among other things, a postcode check for Keurmeesters, an energy label company, that looks up the address straight away, and a web shop for TH6 where every beat is sold with its own licence and checkout and download are automatic.
Why build it in-house
We design and build everything ourselves, from the first sketch to hosting and maintenance. That keeps lines short: you talk to the people who build it, and changes don't pass through several parties. It also means the software, your website and the integrations fit together from the start.
What it costs
That depends on what it has to do. In a call you hear what we would build and what it costs, before anything is built. Hosting, maintenance and updates run through our software, from €79 a month excl. VAT.
You talk to the people who build it. Twan van Hulst is the designer and does the build and the technology, Lorenzo Ruisi does the strategy. Nothing is outsourced. DesignCheck is based in Mijdrecht, the Netherlands, and works with businesses across the Netherlands and abroad, on site or remotely.
